The Crazy Bat Lady started out in 2012 as my space on the internet to collect my adventures in geek culture, but has transformed into a platform to promote creating, sharing and self-love within the community.

Focusing on pop-culture, I explore everything from style and beauty cosplay. Believing cosplay can be a hobby that anyone can participate in while staying within your means, I write affordable crafting tutorials for The Mary Sue.

When I'm not writing, you can find me at my local comic or thrift shop looking for something I don't need. I enjoy long walks to the craft store, eBay bidding wars and collecting black label Betsey Johnson dresses. Despite being born and raised Gotham, I don't have the coolest origin story.
